High On Histamine Low on Sleep or Heading for Bone Degeneration!!??

Scary and complex one this and many years in the making. My sleep issues started back in 2015, if not before. I was manifesting it as just being wired and excited…not ideal at bedtime as a singleton lol. It was much worse after training which eventually led to me almost giving up one of my favourite hobbies- smashing weights in the gym. At first, I thought it was a problem detoxing the histamine produced from training. So I started to cut out high histamine foods but the issues continued. Then DNA Pal (link below) tested my sleep genetics a few years ago. This showed me I was the sleep type that doesn’t have a natural sleep time…the benefit of this would be that I could easily deal with many time zone changes and jet lag…the downside is that my body doesn’t really have a sleep time…it has to be strictly trained. I also paid £250 per hour for expert advice from an ex-tutor at my college (College of Naturopathic Medicine) Alex F who now practises on Harley Street in London. He showed me how to measure my blood sugar and how to reduce it after training dysregulates it and also how to monitor my HRV (heart rate variability) and how it shows health vulnerabilities. Yet still no resolution. After doing so well training for a body building show in 2010 I was gutted as to get on stage is still one of my biggest goals. With flawed recovery from no sleep though this dream seemed increasingly impossible.

I hve tried everything including singing, lavender, cold showers, fish oil, more protien, less protien, training at various times, gentle training, no cardio and the list goes one.

Enter the beginnings of osteoporosis…During lockdown I qualified to teach Burlesque…another passion of mine. But quite quickly during my weekly classes my back started making odd grinding noises that vibrated through my body..not good! But, in my usual busy fashion I told myself i had no time to research and carried on. Cut to 6 weeks ago when i started to get pains in my wrists. At this point I knew this was a symptom of osteoporosis. I had also had teeth issues and had been urinating alot in the nights, especially after training and or gluten consumption ( thats another blog). The urinating is a sign of cranial osteoporosis!! Anyway, I decided to hit the minerals HARD and looked into the very best there is and found an awesome one…liquids are the best way as rapid absorption is ensured. Now…sleeping like a baby. No wrist pain and I THINK I can even train and recover.

Minerals are crucial and we are ALL deficent as none left in the soil. message me at slavenomore@protonmail.com for the best one to get. Its not available in the UK but I import. Also I recommend and grounding sheet.
